    B-hive: 2024 Review

    0
By bhive on December 13, 2023 Industry News, News

We are at the end of 2023 and over 80 Partners have already joined the B-hive network, including sales and letting agents, experienced property managers and surveying firms. They share a common vision of delivering excellent local customer service, backed by a trusted, capable, and credible partner. We believe that this collaborative approach is the way forward for the industry and we envision more and more agents and property managers expanding into block management or starting their own businesses, ultimately creating a good work-life balance, while maintaining high standards of service and being the local and personable experienced operator.

This is the only offering of its type in the market today and provides our Partners with software, a leaseholder portal and service charge accounting services for a fixed fee. In addition, it provides all the legislative and compliance services that are needed to manage in this sector AND provides comprehensive training.  Through our extensive training, Partners can stay ahead of the competition and provide unparalleled service to their clients.  Our in-house specialists, experts in their respective fields, deliver content-specific training that offers practical insights, guidance, and advice. In addition, we provide our Partners with access to our Business Growth Managers, who provide toolkits and strategies supporting our Partners unit growth.

Our Business Growth Managers collaboratively work closely with each partner, from formulating growth strategies, to helping with tenders and help Partners structure client pitches. We are in this together and understand that if our Partners don’t win new business and grow, then neither do we!

In the wake of the King’s Speech, where the government unveiled its commitment to reshape the leasehold sector through the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Bill, we find ourselves not just optimistic and very much aligned to the advice coming out of government. Our business model and processes within our specialist teams, and commitment to compliance is already line up with the messages coming out of the Kings speech. Empowering leaseholders, transparency in service charges and the services delivered are key reforms the bill introduces, this impacts our Partners and their clients. As joint agents, the clients we support our Partners with are deeply rooted in the RMC market, with emphasis placed on leaseholders’ engagement in managing their developments. Transparency over service charges is a shared goal. Tools such as Dwellant, the system we provide our Partners withy, boosts accessibility and in turn transparency for leaseholders, which is more than can be said for most other operators in the industry.

The proposed reforms represent a significant milestone for the leasehold industry, while addressing longstanding issues. Our model is to support and empower our Partners, offering them back-office support in managing their developments. The proposed reforms emphasize transparency and fairness, two principles that are deeply ingrained in our operations.

As we look ahead to the future and the impending reforms in the leasehold sector, we see nothing but positive news for the industry and in turn our Partners. We are well-prepared to support our Partners through these transitions, with fully compliant systems and business processes that are constantly being updated as we navigate through the legislation that is coming down the tracks, thus reinforcing our role as a trusted and credible partner to our network handling complexities behind the scenes.  This combination enables partners to focus on nurturing client relationships, growing their business and delivering exceptional customer service.

We believe in continuous learning and will keep all of our Partners up to date on legislative changes, enhanced proposition offerings and additional services necessary in the life cycle of managing a block. We are committed to continuously refining our back-office solutions and embracing technology to enhance our offerings. We plan to provide excellent and compliant services to the next generation of Block Managers, so that together we can claim to be providing a different solution and have excellent customer satisfaction, by each party playing to their respective strengths.

Regardless of location or complexity, B-hive’s Partners are well-equipped to provide the best of both worlds: a top-notch customer experience and a compliant, future-proof service.
