Watling Real Estate Selling St Augustine’s Cultural Centre and Apartments in Brighton

A former church converted into a business and cultural centre and adjacent apartments in the heart of Brighton has come on the market with Watling Real Estate.

This mixed use investment, which is fully let,  produces almost £600,000 gross rent per annum.

Jamie Lamond, a director in Watling’s London office, said: “This is a strategically located mixed-use investment trophy in a highly sought-after location close to Preston Park in the City of Brighton.

“The property comprises nine, fully let, luxury apartments and commercial business & cultural centre within the converted St Augustine’s Church.”

He said the 100% occupancy rate, combined with high tenant demand for both commercial space and apartments, provided the potential for rental uplift.

Brighton and Hove has long been a popular coastal location, made even more attractive by fast train links to London.

Lamond added: “Demand for housing in Brighton is high, driven by limited supply and a steady inflow of residents. This combination has kept property values above the national average, and makes the city a particularly attractive investment prospect.

“We are seeking to sell this on an accelerated timeframe with exchange targeted within 14 working days of agreed terms, and completion 30 days thereafter.”

Price is available on application, and more details can be found here, or by emailing [email protected]
