TOP TALENT IN RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT CELEBRATED AT 2023 ACE AWARDS

    0
By The Property Institute on June 19, 2023 Industry News, News

The winners of the ACE Awards were revealed at a glittering ceremony at Old Billingsgate in the heart of London on Friday 16th June 2023.  Attended by over 550 property professionals, a record number for the event, the Awards celebrated excellence and exceptional achievement by the UK’s leading residential managing agents, suppliers and the work of their people in improving the lives of over a million leaseholders across the country.

The 18 category winners were announced following a rigorous adjudicating process by a panel of 12 independent judges. Old Billingsgate provided a stunning backdrop to a fun-packed evening of live music, fine dining and exciting entertainment.

Andrew Bulmer, The Property Institute CEO, said: “With record-breaking numbers of entries and attendees in 2023, it’s clear how much the ACE Awards mean to this sector. The new categories for this year helped us celebrate the broad talent of those working within residential property management, and the awards will continue to evolve. My hats off to the judging panel who once again picked out some excellent winners.’

“My thanks for the incredible support shown by our sponsors, and to all those who nominated or attended – you’ve all played your part in making this year’s ACE Awards the best yet.”

FareShare, the UK’s national network of charitable food redistributors, was the charity partner this year and a magnificent sum of £5,440.00 was raised for the cause. FareShare works with the food industry to take good-to-eat surplus food, that might otherwise go to waste, to be sorted in warehouses across the UK, and passed on to a network of 8,500 charities and community groups. These charities help tackle the root causes of poverty, and provide wraparound services including homelessness shelters, lunch clubs for elderly people suffering with isolation, and support with issues including debt, employment and mental health.

The cost of living crisis is driving millions into food poverty, at a time when food prices are rising. At the same time, 3 million tonnes of food goes to waste on UK farms every year.

Shabnam Amini, Director of Fundraising at FareShare, says: “We are extremely grateful to the team at the ACE Awards for choosing us as their charity partner this year. The money raised will make a valuable contribution to helping us get good-to-eat surplus food to people who need it most and help strengthen communities by supporting the essential work of our network of 8,500 charities. We hope as many people donate to the JustGiving page to help get more food to people, instead of it going to waste.”

Should you wish to make a post-event donation please do so via FareShare’s JustGiving page.
