Block in a Box: The New Way to Manage Your Block

    0
By Flat Living on October 1, 2020 Industry News

The UK’s new block management website; Block in a Box, is a new initiative launched to help you manage your block of flats or apartments.

This innovative new website acts as an online gateway to other companies. We’ll put you in touch with all the services you may need to help you with every responsibility you may face. Whether you’re new to the job or as experienced as they come, Block in a Box will help you every step of the way.

From one website, you’ll have access to the best the UK has to offer including emergency assistance, an online property portal, valuation services, administration services and legal assistance, plus much more. It doesn’t get any easier than that!

Who can use Block in a Box?

The website caters to everybody who manages a block of flats or apartments in the UK, including:

    • Residents’ Management Companies
    • Right to Manage companies
    • Residents Associations

Why do I need Block in a Box?

We’ve launched Block in a Box because we don’t think there is enough support out there for those who self-manage their block of flats. There are many service providers in the market but many do not understand the complexities of blocks of flats and leasehold properties.

That’s why we have taken the steps to make it as straightforward and stress-free as possible; putting everything you need in one easy-to-reach place.

What services can I access through Block in a Box?

When creating the new website, we worked closely with a team of experienced directors so that we could accurately include everything you might need. From there, we hand-picked some of the best, most trusted services in the UK. We’ve done all the groundwork so that you don’t have to!

Company Secretarial Solutions: Providing you with reliable administrative support for your company.

Service Charge Collection: Provided through our Manage Your Block portal, you’ll be able to design, email and save all service charge demands with a click of your mouse.

Service Charge Arrears collection: Helping you when residents do not pay.

Accounts: Preparation and filing of company accounts at Companies House.

Insurance: Through Block in a Box, you’ll be able to obtain the most reliable and competitively priced insurance policies on the market. Tailor-made to suit your block, of course!

Health and safety: For whenever your block needs health and safety risk assessments, fire risk assessments, asbestos surveys or Legionella surveys- call us for a quote.

Reinstatement Cost Assessments: Using trusted surveyors to ensure your block is adequately insured.

Legal Services: You’ll have access to a range of legal services specific to leasehold properties.

Out-of-hours emergency helpline: When things go wrong, you’ll always have the support you need, no matter what time it is.

Utilities: Call us to ensure you aren’t paying excessively for utilities.

Repairs and maintenance network: We’ll put you in touch with a UK wide network of trusted contractors who specialise in blocks of flats and apartments.

Third-party contractor accreditation: Before appointing a contractor, you’ll have the option to organise an independent accreditation- taking the stress away from you.

Even with all this at your fingertips, we know that sometimes you just want to talk to someone with experience.

On top of that, we’re also including access to the UK’s most trusted online property portal Manage Your Block. On this secure portal, you’ll be able to store all your documentation, connect with contractors, collate a block history and log everything in your diary.

Even more exciting? Manage Your Block has been just been upgraded. That means you’ll now be able to prepare, process and print out service charge demands for your residents.

Manage Your Block is available to Residentsline policyholders completely free of charge, or at an extra cost of only £148 for non-policyholders.

To learn more about how we can help you, please contact a member of the team on 0333 015 4145 or visit our website at www.blockinabox.co.uk.
