Darren Bagnall from Flat Living Insurance has some exciting news to share regarding the Flat Living website.

We’ve been squirrelling away behind the scenes to deliver a new and improved Flat living website and are very happy to announce that all our glorious changes are now live!

The site is still packed full of all the help, information, advice & guidance that we love to provide for those who live in, own or manage blocks of flats, but now we hope you’ll find the site far easier to navigate while enjoying a more aesthetic experience.

    Key Changes You’ll Experience

    Design:

One of the key aspects of our overhaul was to switch up aesthetics of the site and to implement a completely new design. We wanted the site to feel much more spacious as well as providing better functionality.

You’ll find much more white space, clear menu options, a latest news rundown and a useful ‘latest articles’ section on the homepage- making over 1500 pages of information far more accessible.

    Navigation:

Flat Living holds so much information that we needed a better way to present all the articles that our trusted experts have provided.

You’ll now find our three main sections of articles (Block Management, Leaseholder and Opinion) are linked directly from the homepage. Once you’re in the right section, for Block Management and Leaseholders you’re presented with a clear list of sub-categories to help you find what you’re looking for while the Opinion section offers the latest pieces in date order.

The sub-categories for Block Management and Leaseholders are:

    Block Management:

    • Manage Your Block
    • Lease
    • Service Charges
    • Health and Safety
    • Insurance
    • Disputes
    • Major Works
    • Cleaning and Maintenance
    • Communal Facilities
    • Software
    • Case Law

    Leaseholders:

    • Lease
    • Service Charges
    • Disputes
    • Major Works
    • Communal Facilities
    • Software
    • Landlords

You can also access the main sections and their subcategories from the main menu along with:

    • Lifestyle: articles for landlords who are buying, selling or letting a flat
    • News: the latest industry news and updates as well as interviews, opinion and jobs
    • Events and Training: listing the industry’s upcoming courses and webinars
    • Block Services: details of the services provided by Block in a Box
