Award-winning London surveying firm Earl Kendrick appoints Kim Tasso as Non-Executive Director

London-based Chartered Building Surveyors, Earl Kendrick Associates (EKA), has appointed Kim Tasso to the Board as a Non-Executive Director from 1st January 2017.

EKA was established in 2010 by Julian Davies. With offices in London and Brighton, it has become established as a leading building surveying practice specialising in the property management sector. EKA has won the Surveyor of the Year award for four consecutive years at the Property Management Awards.

    Managing Director, Julian Davies commented:

“We have grown every year and the business has changed in many ways. One thing remains consistent, and that’s our belief that chartered surveying is about people as much as buildings. That’s the case across the spectrum, from residential blocks to commercial property. Kim understands that perfectly. She has been working with us since March 2016 on management projects including our leadership academy, team development, business planning and the opening of our Brighton office in July. Her knowledge of the property sector allied to her outstanding management skills will help accelerate our growth plans as will her buy-in to our service philosophy.”

“Kim’s credentials in our industry are outstanding. She has worked with a number of leading property firms, was formerly a columnist for property magazine Estates Gazette, and has published books including one on growing property partnerships. She is a regular speaker on management and marketing in surveying and property firms.”

    Kim Tasso, added:

“Earl Kendrick Associates is a fascinating firm – ambitious whilst committed to providing a people-first, quality service to a fast growing client base. They have achieved a lot this year in addition to remarkable financial success – the relocation of their London office, a rebranding and new web site, the creation of a marketing team, the opening of an office in Brighton and a joint-venture party wall company. And there are a number of exciting projects in the pipeline which will further expand the depth and range of their services. I am very excited about the firm’s future and my part in it.”

    About Earl Kendrick Associates

Earl Kendrick’s focus is not simply on carrying out building surveys when people move house, but on helping clients deal with the full range of real estate-related issues, from due diligence and strategic maintenance planning to design and specification, and seeing each project through from start to finish.

In line with the firm’s founding ethos, technical experience, qualifications and expertise are just the starting point. The real core of the business is relationships with clients, for whom EKA is not just a firm of surveyors but a trusted partner. Those clients range from home and business owners to investors, developers and management companies responsible for prestigious residential blocks.

The firm’s specialties are: Building Surveys, Party Wall Matters, Contract Administration, Project Management, Building Surveying Services for Residential Blocks and Commercial Properties, Due Diligence, Technical Property Advice, Defect Diagnosis and Repairs, Damp Diagnosis, Architectural Design, Specification, Interior Design and Licence to Alter Matters/Freeholder Consent.
