Block Management Software – Manage Your Block

    0
By Manage Your Block on August 1, 2021 Software

Manage Your Block was designed to support the self-managed clients of Residentsline, London Flats Insurance and Flat Living Insurance to assist in holding their historical data to enable knowledge transfer to new directors and for multiple directors to be involved in day- to-day management of the block.

It took us 2 years to design and implement this portal which is now being used widely to support many self-managed Residents’ Management Companies in the UK.

Designed for: Self-Managed / Small Managing Agents

Used for: Block Management / Inspections / Repairs

Areas covered: England / Wales / Scotland / Northern Ireland / Ireland

    Blocks: 4000 / Units: 40000

    Overview

Manage Your Block is a secure, easy-to-use portal that offers access to your block’s details at the touch of a button.

It is a modern solution to managing your block, so you do not need to worry about paperwork. On top of that, you don’t have to be a technology expert to use the portal; we’ve made it as easy to use as possible, while still making it advanced enough to have a massive range of functions.

We designed this site with a group of directors and committee members, so we could understand what was most important to you and the most effective way to hold all your vital information.

Manage Your Block has been designed to make your life easier; it saves you time and offers a fast and efficient interface to connect you, your residents, and your block. We spoke to an array of Residents’ Management Company directors who all said that they were struggling to keep on top of resident leaseholders details. If a property was sold, information relating to the leaseholder had to be updated on a spreadsheet and that information passed around again to all Directors, who then had to make sure they saved the latest copy – not a particularly secure method and one that left Directors open to potential problems.

Manage Your Block has been designed to make your life easier; it saves you time and offers a fast and efficient interface to connect you, your residents, and your block.

    Key Features & Benefits

Manage Your Block software is easy to use and can provide access for just one Resident Management Company Director or all of the Directors, as well holding all of your resident leaseholder’s information in a safe and secure manner. Manage Your Block brings all of your information together easily and intuitively in one central place, doing away with the need for piles of paperwork and document folders. You can access your insurance information and risk assessments, notify residents about information and even request quotes and create work orders.

Darren Bagnall, Head of Operations at Manage Your Block says “Working with Resident Management Companies of self-managed developments on a daily basis allows us to see and understand the issues that they face. Many were finding it hard to keep on top of tasks that were required, communicate with leaseholders and access the information that related to their block. All of this information was stored in one physical location or shared on spreadsheets (which opens up a whole other discussion).

We created Manage Your Block as a way to make RMC Directors’ lives easier – they already take on the role of managing their block of flats unpaid and generally unappreciated, so creating a web-based software tool that is easy to navigate was identified as the best way forward to make their life a little easier.”

Save – Provide a trustworthy online space to store and manage your insurance documentation. Whatever you choose to upload – policy wordings, health and safety reports or any other notices – you will have instant access no matter where you are. Finding documents will be stress-free.

Share – Provide login access to other directors to share your workload. Contacts – You can store, view and update the contact list for all the owners and residents in your block. This is especially useful if there is ever an issue which needs urgent attention, as all the contact information you may need is only a click away, whatever the time of day. Alerts – You can send alerts in case of a problem. For example, a power shortage, a broken lift or even crime-related incidents in the local area. Not only does this make it simpler for you, it makes communication a lot quicker and easier.Contractors – Store a list of contractors’ details such as plumbers and electricians, so you’re prepared in case of emergency repairs. Diary – See diary reminders to ensure you don’t forget anything, including health and safety risk assessments, gate inspections and much more. Calendar – Check your calendar to see what is coming up soon. Documents – Hold all your blocks documentation. This may include copy leases, financial records, fire evacuation procedures, along with other day-to-day procedural documents. Quotes – Request quotes, from your preferred contractors or use one of our recommended contractors if you prefer. Issue work orders to accept quotes and hold all this information safely. Notes – hold any notes you need for audit or general purposes
